When we left to come back home Monday afternoon, we left Ian with his grandparents. Since we are unable to go on a proper honeymoon right away, we were able to take a 'stay-cation' from parenthood for a couple weeks. We do miss our little buddy, but we've been told that he's having a blast with Grandma and Granddad!
My sister and her husband got on a train to come down to Portland to spend the last few days they were up here with us. While they were with us, William had to work, but I went out places with them. We went to the mall one day, downtown Gresham the next. We also visited Multnomah Falls, which was a much shorter trip than when William and I went last year!
Last night, William and I got the Thank You cards tackled. Well... at least most of them. :P Addresses still need to be put on and we still have a few left to write. They are getting done, though! Tonight, I'm hoping I can convince William to take me to Walmart so I can get some summer clothes, I don't have any shorts, and I would like a couple nice summer dresses. :D He also needs more jeans... let's see if I can convince him to spend money on us instead of on Ian for a change! :P
